This is my fan art of Miyavi....I think its pretty self explanatory... I love purple and pink on him and well he is pretty cocky and full of the sex..lolso hats off to a great musical fiend! Much love Mi-Mi!

Yeah, eyes make or break a picture. Even if the rest is so-so and the eyes are AMAZING, it's what people will be drawn to. Eyes being good, the rest will be at least decent as well.

No, eyes make the drawing, it's just how it is.
Which is why I've been struggling with them lately... I'm used to them being so easy for me, and the nose and mouth being difficult, so on the pictures I did today, the nose and mouth look pretty good, actually (spent most of my time on them) and the eyes are crap, slightly crooked, misplaced or something, it feels...
I hate it ><

omg I know- its like...why can't I have just one realllllllllly good one come out without all the crap frustration? But this is what helps us grow as artists. We learn placement and well...its sort of expensive and time consuming considering how much paper and pencils I used to go through...lol...now I just use a Bamboo tablet and rarely ever just draw or paint...if i do- I am extra careful! ^_^ Still...I hate the frustration!

Yeah, I have one nice mechanical pencil, and buy lead/erasers for it once a year or so, and then around one or two sketchbooks a year, my physical art for drawing comes out to around 50 bucks/year. Maybe 60.
Then I have my super cheap Genius tablet because I knew I needed something, and I'd like a better one sometime.
I just like having a physical copy of things I do too ^^
