Now just imagine if you had to fight them both at the same time. THAT would be a fight to remember...but there would probably be a lot of moments were people are pulling out their hair just trying to beat them. Nice picture and tribute to two of the most memorable water Mavericks (at least, my most memorable ^_^).

Heh, that'd be an awesome fight indeed. As for the memorability thing, I kinda liked Duff McWhalen too (despite the silly name), I was close to including him in the drawing too, but that would have been too random, so I decided against that in the end

i think volt krakens the blue guy but who r the others ive played baic megaman x ans killed volt kraken he was hard to get to but a simple boss.

The red one is Launch Octopus, from Megaman X. In this particular drawing I used the "Maverick Hunters" design (which is a MMX remake for the PSP). And the snake on the background is just a subboss from Launch Octopus stage.

It's not often you see fanart of these two guys together. It's makes sense seeing as they were friends/brothers-in-arms when they were Maverick Hunters.
Anyway, this is a fantastic piece and I'd be shocked if it didn't get in the book. I especially like the lighting and smooth coloring.

Their tentacles/arms lend to all kinds of cool motion, and I liked how you used that to your advantage. Launch's miniboss in the back only makes this more awesome. It's nice to see these two get some love.

Yeah, I have a thing for water creatures, I really liked Duff Mc Whalen too (despite the awful names X5 used). I would have added him too, but it would have broken the whole "brothers in arms" I wanted to do on this one

Not at all. I'm glad I did. I never eally played the X games (cept when I was really little) But when I saw the octopus boss It struck me that he was one of my favorite megaman bosses. I always thought he looked cool and was unique to all the others
