Full View PleaseDecided to upload another photo, because all the cool kids are doing it, lawl.
This is another photo that took, definitely one of my favorite photos. I basically laid down the entire day at the con, lol. Standing up in this guy was exhausting and as quoted "I was the only person at the con who can just lay down and sleep on the floor", lawl. There was actually one point that where I was about to fall asleep at the third Zelda gathering, haha.

Agreed. A lot of people are ignorant and many like to yell out "FURRY" because the 'cool crowd' does it. I am in no way a furry, but I get called it a lot. Though, I eventually got used to it and ignored them. Some people, though. Really.

Well, for starters, I carved the head abd bidy padding out of a dense foam. The head is attached to a helmet and the neck is also made out of foam, same with the feet. My arms were extended with PVC pipes so when I am on all fours, the arms reach the ground and thus, guving it the illusuon that I'm a dog (though, my costumes are mainly build for craftmenship and I dont like acting like an animak, lol!) Everyrhing was then covered in fur (made my own pattern), details were added like teeth, eyes. Etc and bam! Done. Thats just a nutshell explaination though, haha.

I'm the same, haha. With mascots or full bodied costumes, you don't need to worry about people looking at your face. And oh! That would be cool if you made a costume like that. I am actually planning to make a robot costume soon, too. Metabee from Medabots. [link] I actually already know how to construct it, what materials to get.etc So, if you ever need help, let me know.
It did take a lot of work, haha. And I'm making another costume like this (four legged) this year.

yeah i know who is Metabee! XD he would make a really cool cosplay but i bet that it would be hard to move with all his accesories
and the hardests part must be get all the materials to make it XD and if i had problems i will ask you

Awesome! Glad you know Metabee! He's so cool and the show is awesome period, lol! And yeah, it would be hard moving around, haha. And oh wow! That costume would be so hardcore! I love when people make complex costumes like that.
True. A lot of materials go into making my cosplay, armor ones included. Fiberglass, resin, cardboard, you name it!

Eeee, another Medabots fan! I used to be CRAZY over Medabots back in the day. I remember I really, really wanted them to be real, more than anything (even more than Pokemon and Digimon, lol!). And definitely. I love working on complex costumes.
The good news is that there are so many ways to make armor that you'll definitely find something in your area that will work.
You like Cyborg 009??? Eeee, happy Koi is happy now! I've been reading and watching it now like crazy since I'm revisiting it. I LOVE the series. I don't see many fans for it, though

For me, I would do either two things. One is make all the parts out of cardstock, fiberglass and bondo the pieces, prime, paint and vanish. Or, Id carve all the pieces out of insulation foam and cacuum form plastic over it so its nice and light.

and yeah Cyborg 009 was one of the firsts animes! haha! almost as old as Astroboy! XDDD and i love those old styles were anime was a bit more similar to the western style but still with his own charm
yeah the 60's anime of Enma kun was good but it was more focused on the fights with the demons, i recomend more the newest version cuz is more similar to the original manga witch it was more focused on the humor rather than the fights

I am not sure at this point as I am now at college in Iowa, and the way our course schedule works it currently looks like the only con I will be able to go to any time soon is Acen. I may be able to make Colossalcon this year but I have no place to stay which makes things a bit difficult.

I am quite sure my friends here at uni would be laughing at me for sleeping in the same room as a furry. And while rooming with a stranger is a bit odd, it does bring down costs, and I swear I am only a psycho murderer on Wednesdays, so you would be safe!
If I lived closer I might just drive up for one day but as its almost a three hr drive from Piqua/Tipp City and I will have gotten back from school the week before which is a nine hour drive...yeah...gah driving.

I know your not, but, unpleasantly, the people at my school consider anyone who makes mascot/fur suits furries...its kind of annoying because they have no problem with other full body cosplays.
I plan at least to do a Panty and Stocking Stocking costume, but I am not sure if I should come up with a few others or just wear the one for the whole con if I go. (which if you are willing to have me room with you. or you can point me to someone who would, then I shall)

I can understand that. I get quite a few people who shout Henti when I am in my Lolita clothing, oh who make sexual comments, and really, its just a style of dress that I prefer, there is nothing sexual about it. Ah well...ignore the idiots and keep moving forward.
