Yay! XD I'm done another one, finally. x_X; sorry it took so long, slight technical difficultes.Now that this is done with, I can move on to other ones! *laugh*
Anyway, this character here is Zephyr the 'punk', smoking hed...waith what.? WAUGH! I just accidentally RESTORED all of my recycling bin! X_X;; Took me hours to put all that crap in there! *dies*
Err..! I present, Astreaus Zephyrus, AKA Zephyr the Hedgehog. The hedgehog creation of the funky fresh and very sweet, ! Thank you very much for letting me draw this for you! ^^ I hope you enjoy it. Once again, I tried my hand at hand-drawing in a background. A brick wall, with home-brewn graffitti, and random shiz!
The cement walk on the left, and the cigarette butt are my favorite. XD Hahaha... I even tagged the wall with my own 'tag' I just made. *runs away before she's shot*Zephyr © ~angelsnow

Very well done indeed! The SA style is definatly something you've mastered, and the shading on it is so confident. No shakiness or anything, which is a common fault I see in people trying to mimic the SA style. You're awesome! ^__^
The sort of "painted" style to the background gives an added effect too. Excellent as always.

Actually, good. Very good. The grafitti is a great expansion of your creativity from the pic itself to the background. Most people (myself included) would have just done a Photoshop effect or something half-hearted. Icing on the cake.

Mmm.. I think there might be too deep a perspective for the background. The character himself seems like a sort or eye level perspective, while you're looking down ont he scenery.

And, YES! I suck at 3D perspective! *slammed into a wall* I've always sucked at it. o_O; I'm trying, though. Thanks for the tip. I think it's the far wall on the right that does it in. I was trying to imagine a similar wall, in SA1, where you fight Chaos 0 for the first time as Sonic. That little pit thing there.

Sometimes it helps if you make a floor grid for what your character is standing and then work the grid upwards to match the view on the character. If you keep your blue lines on another layer you can just click them on when finalising the BG.

And... the 'lack of lines' in the BG was an accident, actually... I accidentally erased the layer with the lines, then saved it, and my computer froze. Talk about inopportune moments.
(I should mention, I only have a PII/400mhz, wiht 128mb memory. THAT itself causes a lot of problems, I've found. I think the memory is a but...fried? My computer requires a restart almost every 30 minutes, depending on the intensity of CPU I;m using. I'm quite saddened.)

X_x;; yes, that may be a problem. Some artists that are either afraid of art theft or have experienced it before put a translucent text over it stating the copyright information. But the problem is, it doesnt matter what size, people can still claim the art for their own no matter what, even if it does have a watermark I'm afraid...

The tablet is so hard to use. X_x; That's what I did the BG wth, and that's why it looks a bit off.

Well I've used one before and I find it much nicer then a mouse.
It gives you a greater range of movement..
Nothing about the picture really -.-; i was just kinda upset cuz I was going to buy a tablet this week and can't now cuz people needed money from me.

I do like this though, you have certainly cracked that SA style well for the character though it is admittedly odd given the style of the background. ah well :3
