Comission I got at ACen, lol. I managed to get the lineart done over the weekend and actually get it okayed during then, so all I had left to do was color it. So, I finished coloring it this mroning. Now to catch up on Zos Kias @_@Anyways, I was asked to draw Inuyasha smacking into a palm tree. It's going to be used as a LJ icon, I believe. It was fun to draw X3

lol, it was some joke for the girl who got it commissioned. I know she's an Inuyasha fan who just moved to Miami, lol. THat's all I know XD
mainly, it's the difference in the usage of kanji. Oniγι¬Όγmeans more of a vengeful spirit, though it's usually translated as demon. THe best way to think of it is a demon created from some lingering hatred towards the world. Youkai ε¦ζͺ means more a being from a spirit world (ie, another dimension). Though it is often translated as demon, it is actually not originally meant as a demonic being. hmm...make sense?
