Description I've been working with some of the guardians in Zos Kias for some of the upcoming storylines I'm finally laying out, and I realized that most of the guardians don't have a good picture of them, lmao XD So, I decided to draw the major ZK characters with their guardains~! My list is of 16, lmao, so expect more of these (although it should be rather slowly coming).

Light and Raijin et al (c) meh, Zos Kias

QWX! I actually made Raijin look like a lion! I think I'll keep this design for him for now on, fufufu~

Lol, well, the Narnia books were good, I think? I read like 3 of them randomly when I was a kid XD I believe the Lion, Witch, and the Wardobe WAS one of them though XD

Yeah, it is. I only heard of it when someone read it to my fourth grade class.

It's hard to keep track of a series of books that you haven't really heared of as much as Harry Potter or Artemis Foul.

It makes me wonder how the idea for the movie came to be if alot of people haven't heard of the books.

Ya think with books that old they would be dustballs or something.

kojika In reply to dalen90 [2009-10-19 16:35:37 +0000 UTC]

well, they still have a following, even if the generation is a bit older now. and obviously, the movies did fairly well.

dalen90 In reply to kojika [2009-10-19 16:40:41 +0000 UTC]

True. What's next though? The concept of movies based on books, new or old, is starting to reach it limits. I say this because the newest ones, aside from New Moon, are Cloudy with A Chance of Meatballs and Where the Wild Things Are. Picture books about a thick as a pancake with a word count of less.

kojika In reply to dalen90 [2009-10-19 16:42:39 +0000 UTC]

Yeha, but they are still going on with it. There are at least 2 or 3 other books I've heard them talking about turning into movies. And, they are also redoing old movies, ick. I just wish that they would actually come up with totally original ideas, no more sequels! There are a ton of really good ideas out there, if they knew where to look!

dalen90 In reply to kojika [2009-10-19 16:48:17 +0000 UTC]

I don't know. Sometimes they can modernize an old movie pretty well. Rob Zombie came close with Halloween. It's just that they go too far with making it different that I have a problem with. And on a different topic: Astro boy?! What's next Mega Man?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kojika In reply to dalen90 [2009-10-19 16:51:07 +0000 UTC]

Well, I was never into the Halloween movies to begin with, so I haven't seen the new ones. But I remember seeing the new Haunting versus the old one. That was crap. Oh god, I about died when I saw that! Man, they need to leave stuff alone! Have you heard there are some other animes being made into live action? Like Akira...>.>

dalen90 In reply to kojika [2009-10-19 16:56:06 +0000 UTC]

OH MY GOD! Akira? Then there's Blood the Last Vampire. I saw the anime version and I was shocked to hear about a live action one.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kojika In reply to dalen90 [2009-10-19 16:57:27 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, they just won't leave them alone! I heard rumors about an Evangelion live, too, but I can't say how acurate that was.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

dalen90 In reply to kojika [2009-10-19 16:59:11 +0000 UTC]

Evangelion and Death Note? It was bad enough with the Evil Dead Musical.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

dalen90 In reply to kojika [2009-10-19 17:04:17 +0000 UTC]

And then there's movies based off of the old cartoons like Underdog and Inspector Gadget.

yeaaaaaaaah....those movies weren't terrible, but they weren't good, either.

dalen90 In reply to kojika [2009-10-19 17:08:24 +0000 UTC]

I'll admit they were ok, but all that's left is Jonny Quest and Captain Planet. The H.G. Wells are running dry.

kojika In reply to dalen90 [2009-10-19 17:12:23 +0000 UTC]

Ugh, let's hopw they don't do those! Enough is enough @_@ I just wish they would come up with original ideas, it's not totally impossible!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

dalen90 In reply to kojika [2009-10-19 17:15:42 +0000 UTC]

The only media that use original ideas, some of the time, is television. Where else is can you find a Making Fiends TV series?

I see where you're going with this. Shows like those are rediculous. But not all shows are terrible. Like Smallvile and Mythbusters.

Is Raijin the only animal-type guadian?
(I live this design, by the way!)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

kojika In reply to stickfigureparadise [2009-09-10 01:15:19 +0000 UTC]

No, but most of them have more humanoid ones. Lesse...the others with animals are: Natasha, Tessa, Carter, at least. Fredonia, Lily, andγ€€Megumi still don't have solidified guardians, so one of them might have one, too. Oh, and Lillian might (not sure which design I'm goin gwith for hers yet)。And then, though they aren't in this set, Storm and Viridian both have animal types
