I read about them again, and I decided, I want to make this! It was going to originaly just be Matthew and lawrence, but I figured, this would be better. Matthew Shepard was killed for being gay, even though the shooter hasn't said it it's believed Lawrence King was shot because of it too, Emmett Till was shot for being black and talking to a white lady in the civil rights era, and Viola Liuzzo was shot by the KKK because she was helping blacks. These are but four of the Victums killed for being who they are, and I don't like it! I wish hate crimes would have never happen. but that can only happen when we ALL say "NO MORE, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!" Stop the hate, bring the love.Related content

He was a young boy, from Chicago...
He didn't know a whole lot about Money, Mississippi..
And he was brutally beaten, eye gauged out, and shot...
For whistling at the ugliest woman I have ever laid my eyes upon...

I learned something here. I had not known about the efforts of Ms. Viola Liuzzo, it's so sad that her son does not seem to appreciate the amazing legacy his mother left behind.

It's good to recognize those people who we've lost. I read lot's about Matthew too. The personal sad part for me is that Matthew died on Oct 12th which was my birthday, when I found that out I literally cried. Thank you so much for posting!

I saw a documentary on Emmett Till today. It showed very graphic pictures of his corpse at his funeral. It was so sad it made me cry :c

It's good to remember those who stood up for a cause and didn't back down in the face of danger. Stand up for what you believe. It's admirable, isn't it?
