Hahaha, so nice to see someone who thinks the same thing I do! I really love these two, but their method of "fighting" each other certainly wasn't very effective until Lilynette and Ukitake got involved!

well, they do fight and while starrk wants to go to sleep, he can keep up with the strong captain
lilynette fights ukitake in the mean time, who dislikes the girl trying to fight hime
but this picture has made me think of a theory i have had for a while, that some of the espada and captains were once one and the same being but got split of and went to a different point

When i first saw Stark i thought he was Shunsui they look so much alike and they're both lazy. if only Stark was a woman chaser that would make them carbon copies.

Also - and possible spoilers as I'm not sure how far into the anime/manga you are but:
-Stark and Shunsui do fight. Apparently Stark doesn't want to fight, I think he says something about playing around while waiting for the others to finish fighting. But Shunsui says that he can't do that.
-I won't spoil it too much more (that's if I have, like I said don't know where you're up to) - but I will say these two things:
1. Katen Kyokotsu's Shikai abilities are pretty awesome. Srsly.
2. Stark is awesome, badass and totally hot in his released form. Even more srsly.

It's funny though because spoilers have never bothered me.
Like in Bleach - I already knew about Aizen faking his death before I started the anime 'cause I'd seen it in the manga (read some of it).
Some things I can't remember if I knew before. Like when Shunsui's talking to Stark before their fight and he's hoping that he's the 2nd Espada (but I think he actually does suspect otherwise). I can't actually remember if I knew that before I saw that episode or not.

I knew for Aizen too : the very first picture of Bleach I've seen was him trying to kill Hinamori. It didn't totally ruin the manga for me, but I'm disappointed : I didn't feel the same big surprise as the readers who didn't know u_u
