I'd been wanting to get Foe's redesign out a while before he was in the comic, but things sort of just happened. In all fairness though I've only ever drawn foe once within posted media, so it's alright that I'm redrawing him I think haha. Besides this is how foe look like 90% of the time, because trust me in terms of being corrupted, by good old Reverynce. But how can that be? We know Revy has clearly corrupted Enen but why has Foe been affected by that? Simple! That would be because of the nature of Rues.

Rues are beings of Regret, we know this. That is literally what they embrace, however something that is important to know is that they come hand in hand with receiving a blessing. If you possess a blessing, you most likely possess a Rue. This happens because Rue's are a bi-product of the blessings. To be a power of purity and light, the disperse the negativity form them, and the user of the blessing. This results in a Rue being created for that individual, leaving them unable to understand regret properly. This can leave them being stoic or reckless, as they are not aware or simply cannot care about what their actions may lead to. They cannot regret them and so they can dismiss some things easily without proper attention or logic given to it.

In some cases, having a rue can be a good thing. Able to focus on things in life without being held back by regret and self-loathing, however it can also be a dangerous thing. and depending on the person who possesses a Rue, it can lead to the prefect mix of a villain or corrupt minded being.

Can people with Rue's ever gain back their regrets? And become whole again? Yes, though none truly understand how it happens. But really, it is a simple process.
