Description
Acrylic on canvas, 18x24 inches.A Thursday night in early November 1989. I had a dream about a young girl who was wearing half a Coke can on her head. When I asked her what it was, she replied "It's my Christmas Crown".
The next night I bought Morrissey's Viva Hate album, and stayed up all night painting this particular piece. Finished it about 7 AM.
Hey, if a girl says a ragged and halved Coke can is a Christmas Crown, who am I to argue?

this is gorgeous! The amount of detail you did with acrylics is amazing! acrylics are hard to use for fine details 0______0 i'm a little hesitant to draw dreams, because I'm afraid that the picture won't give off the same atmosphere as the dream. so kudos to you!

Looking at Cymbaline, I can't help wondering if her crown was cut by Edward Scissorhands.
