She brings the Virgin Mary to mind in that outfit for some reason...O.o

It probably wasn't. Considering that Lilith's namesake was nothing like the Virgin Mary in the first place. XD I think it had to do with two factors: her position and clothing.
She's standing to the side and behind Abel, as though representing the purpose/power/reason that drives him forward. Her robe is blue, and Mary is often depicted in blue robes. And then there is Lilith's headpiece, which could be reminiscent of a halo.
You probably did not intend for that to pop out but that's the first thing that came to mind. All the same, wonderful drawing, though it's mostly Lilith who has my attention here. I can't help it, though; she has such a beautiful character design!

The part about purpose/power is very true, that's the way I see that character. I guess she really does have that air of "holiness", so the name is quite in contrast with her nature.
And she intends to dominate the composition unobtrusively, whether that is just a drawing or the whole Krusnik family )))

I'm not sure about Lilith having an air of holiness about her, but certainly she is quite otherworldly, not the kind of woman one would see walking down the street everyday, probably not even in India (where I'm pretty sure she's from).
They say she was a mother figure to Abel, but it could have also been a bit more than that.
Then again, that's probably just me.
