Really good page! It was interesting Orihime feels like the rain for Ichigo whilst Rukia symbolically represents the entity that stops the rain for Ichigo. It was moving. She understood the effect her actions had on Ichigo. For me, as I wrote them in my own fanfic, Orihime appealed directly to Ichigo's Hubris. That deep superior instinct he has, who give him the desire and ability to protect those close to him. She is also in my view the antithesis of Rukia. She is also what brings Ichigo down most of the time because he relished in the feeling she directs at him. The admiration and such.
So I kinda agree with your perspective.

The rain/sun/moon analogy was made by Kubo himself. It was a poem he wrote during the SS Rescue arc. I just used it to help clarify Orihime's position regarding Ichigo because she calls herself the rain in her own poem, so they correlated.
The rain drags down Black Sun,

I forgot about Orihime's analogy but now that you say it. Yes, Ichigo hates the rain. But I mean the use of it there was a brilliant idea. I don't say this very often. I'm impressed! You are an amazing storyteller, not all doujin artist knows how to expand a universe.

I loved that quote and found it ironic how Ichigo wanted the rain to stop and Orihime wanted to be the rain.

I really like this line, "I was really just creating overcast skies, blocking out the sun . . . and dragging you down . . ." I'm suck a sucker for beautiful poetry, metaphor thingys.

I think I might have referenced like 3 different poems Kubo himself has made about the characters. That one came from Orihime's poem from way back at the start of Bleach, and even alluded to what Aizen said (something like "Overcast skies always dampen peoples' spirits...so why not smile, and let the sun shine?") It's always more gratifying to be able to support my story with evidence from canon, so I slip in references anytime I can XD

that rain thing.... reminds me of something Gabrielmanga said in her ulquihime meme. Or more acuratly, had Orihime say to Ulquiorra. 'Let our hearts connect with one other as the rain connects the sky and the earth'
