Technically you made Orihime's hair the wrong color. In the Manga her hair color is never really mentioned except for 2 times. It's a light brown and even in manga pages that are colored she is a light brunet.
Funimation or who ever adapted it into an anime fucked up and made her a carrot top like Ichigo and since the Manga came first that technically makes IT cannon and anychanges made in the anime non-cannon.

Thinking it over (and actually looking at what page you're referring to) the whole point of this particular page was to make it look like a screenshot from the anime. So...in that vein, I would have to have used the same colors that they did to make it look right, even if they were wrong in their own choices. For some reason I thought you were one of the many folks giving me grief about one of the Chapter cover pages where she was "too blonde." No worries though.
I've been meaning to find a picture of Orihime colored by Kubo or a while now. Every time I see one I forget to grab it though >< One of these days...(and then I'll get people yelling at me that her hair isn't sorta-brown XD) Although, if she's a light brunette, that does explain why Kubo uses tones on her hair in the black and white pages and not on Ichigo. I always thought that was kinda weird...

Well, the anime has several small to large differences to the manga. And not just the filler seasons.
1 is the way Szayel was "rebirthed" from Nemu. In the manga her stomach inflates and Szayel tears out of her like a Chestbuster from AvP and she withers into a husk. While in the anime none of that happened and she just kinda...puked out a purple cloud and had no signs of anything happening to her...except being dead of course.
and sense it seems the Bleach fanbase is largely people who watched the anime, myself included before I got tired of the delays and read the Manga online, people will not know these things and think a manga fan got it wrong when technically the anime is.
But all in all it utterly pointless.

So then why did you bother pointing it out in the first place if you yourself admit it's a pointless endeavor? The colors are correct for the anime adaptation, and that's really all I was going for. It's the most commonly accepted colors across all fans of Bleach, anime exclusive or not.

Well then let me explain. Snafu.com is a website founded by (I think) Bleedman who is also a fellow deviant. He along with some other fancomic/doujinshi artist post their art their.
There are only 20 doujin on the site which shows that either only a few doujin are excepted or only Bleedman post their.
The two most popular doujin are both Bleedman's.PowerPuff Girl Doujin (Which I thought would suck cuz I hate the cartoon but this is awesome!) also known as PPGD which takes place a few years in the girl's future and is crossed over with nearly every cartoon ever shown on Cartoon Network AND Nickelodeon such as Dexter's Lab, Invader Zim, Megas XLR and Samurai Jack.
And Grim Tales from Down Below. Which is a Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy fic based in the future and follows the lives of Grim and Mandy's children. Grim Jr. Mini Mandy A.K.A Minnie.
There is also a popular Naruto doujin that I haven't read that takes place 10 or 15 years after the manga and focuses on the lives of the Konoha 12's children.
One that I'd really like to see is Invader Zim Manifest Doom but it has been on hiatus for sometime now and looks like it won't be continued anytime soon.
Anyway, I'm not sure is they'll take a doujin that takes place DURING the story instead of sometime after like PPGD and Grim Tales. But if they do this one will definitely have a shot...I don't know if they'll except the pages during Orihime's little daydream though. Cuz while some of them show things like skin, sexual references, blood, death and are in general much darker than the original shows, none of them show full blown nudity or even a nipple.

XD I'm really trying...the original art I did for this thing was pretty horrific, but I've gotten better in a big hurry. I hope that by the time I get to Ichigo/Ulquiorra vs Aizen, it'll be almost identical to Kubo's style. The closer I get, the more legitimate the work seems.
