Karui is a kunoichi from the Cloud Village, who made her first appearance a little before the Pain Invasion. She's more notoriously known for having beaten up Naruto because he withheld information about Sasuke who "kidnapped" her sensei Killer Bee.

I'm someone who happens to ship her with Kiba for a variety of reasons.

Because it wasn't one of those comedic beat downs he normally receives. She really did beat him up, black eyes and brush all around. People apparently don't like the fact that she was assertive and aggressive, nor instantly taken by Naruto's ability to stand by his friends regardless of their crimes.
