You wanted my take on Bowsette (I know, nobody asked)... Well, here it is!If you, like me, hate meme culture and/or had up to here with this nonsense, then PLEASE SHARE TO EVERYBODY YOU KNOW! Let everybody know: Bowsette shouldn't, and in fact doesn't exist!!!
I know I never ask people to share my stuff, but this time it's important, it's for a good cause!!!!!!!!!!!
(btw in the image I didn't mention the name thing because everybody already pointed it out: the name Bowsette doesn't make sense, since it uses the "-ette" part of Peachette's name which actually comes from Toadette; as a result, while "Bowsette" obviously sounds like "female Bowser", it features only part of Toadette's name, and nothing from Peach's name!)

Do you have sight problems by chance? Even taking the reasoning for good (but we are talking about two different games), Peach's crown is totally different from the Super Crown. It look more like a power-up.
However, I don't understand this hatred towards a simple parodistic genderbend. Relax and enjoy silliness .

Yeah, it looks more like a PowerUp: it's a powerup version of Peach's crown! I mean it changes its user into a Peach lookalike, so everybody agrees at least on the Peach part.
And I have nothing against genderbends (obviously: look at my gallery), but I hate this meme culture, of flooding every social media with one thing, that's unimaginatively the same every single time, there's nothing silly to enjoy about it, it's just the death of creativity and therefore the death of art... especially when the subject, as I've proven, doesn't make sense!

No, I mean it's like the classic power-up mushroom, but with a crown. Still nothing to do with Peach's crown.

No it's not like the Super Mushroom: Peachette wears the Super Crown on her head! It's a crown! And you can't say it has nothing to do with Peach's Crown when it turns its wearer into a Peach look-alike! I know it's shaped differently than Peach's crown, but still it represents Peach.
As for the fanart point well... yeah that's not far from the truth. For instance I'm obviously a big Mortal Kombat fan, so I wanted to draw some MK fanart, but I felt like it was a waste of time to just draw some characters without any originality... That's why I started doing gender swaps. They require some tought, some character design, you need to turn the characters into something original while still trying your best to stay true to them. Not to mention I need to know the actual history of the character in order to properly represent them. Mindless fanarts have none of that, you have "artists" just taking a subject and drawing it in their own style, and sometimes they just draw what's popular without even knowing what it is.
Usually that's fine, but in this case everybody is doing a Bowsette, it's really too much, especially since the subject doesn't even deserve it, because it's really nothing special and as I've shown it doesn't even make sense!
