This taxi cab is made of 3/4" plywood and painted with acrylics. I made this piece for my kids as a place to store their homework. It stands about 4 feet tall and serves as a chair when not being used for homework. The tray you see on top fits inside on a rack when the seat lid is open. The rear-view mirrors serves as a place to hang their backpacks. I ended up making a few homework stations of different styles on a contract basis.You can see more of my unique mided media here [link]

I've never seen a cuter idea for storing kid's homeworks, I swear I would have loved such a thing when I was a kid! Wonderful choice of colours and great idea of making it with a school bus shape!
