WOOOOOWWW, that's one serious collection of movies man ! Only if I had at least half of all of those kick ass movies that you have. Still, awesome !
And btw Scott, how is your family going since from what I've heard they kinda were the reason for why you took this long hiatus ?

Ah, sadly my grandfather, whose illness was one of the main reasons for my absence, has since passed. Now I'm taking care of my great grandmother (his mother), so unfortunately, my hiatus will continue until she is well again.

Oh, it will be. There's always room for another creature feature, especially one as epic as Pacific Rim.

Man, it's been a while since I've seen Godzilla. I grew up with those movies and I think my favorite Kaiju is either King Ghidorah or Gigan. Metal beastie all the way, across Japan. Yeah yeah yeeeaaah!

Apparently there is a new 2014 Godzilla movie. I'm not sure if it is real though, since I've seen a lot of those. AND I TAKE IT BACK. My favorite Kaiju is Hedorah. I forgot about him. The poor guy.
π: 0 β©: 1
Komodozilla In reply to Foxfire5634 [2013-08-15 23:26:25 +0000 UTC]
It's real. It's being made by Warner/Legendary, the same ones who made Pacific Rim, and it's slated for release in May of next year.
Kaiju-wise, my favorite, predictable though it may be, is Godzilla himself. Other than him, I'd have to say its Toho's version of King Kong (occasionally referred to as Kaiju Kong ). King Caesar and Zilla Jr. are really cool too.

Lol. Kidding. Yeah I really like Hedorah too. Defiantly one of Toho's more creative approaches toward daikaiju. Wish he had a bigger part in Final Wars.

No apologies needed. I used to watch the anime (been a fan since the beginning), but finally gave it up about halfway through the first season in Sinnoh. Just got too repetitive. I do play the games, though not quite as much anymore (though I do make it a point to try out at least one game from every new generation).
By the way, I checked out your art and found myself impressed. Nice work.
