My submission to 's Pokemorphs project. I had promised I'd throw in a quartet of my creations, old and new and from different settings and I aim to keep this promise.

Charla, or "Miss Rey" as some call her, is surprisingly popular for someone with so few close friends. The big reason for why that is is due to the fact that her mother is the famous (and notorious) photojournalist Eureka Ecks, known far and wide for her outrageous photos of famous local legends -- and, supposedly, Legendaries. Charla's heard people call her "glorified tabloid photographer" one too many times in her life...and a part of her grudgingly believes it to be true, for various reasons. And it's because of this that she has vowed to someday become a famous photographer herself and make people respect the Ecks family name. Her father Renton Rey is for the most part supportive of his only daughter's wish, though he sorely wishes she try to not chase after her mom's tainted shadow so much and just focus on enjoying her own youth. Hopefully this new team she's joined up will help to get her to meet new friends and lighten up a little.

As Team Crossroad's Sinnoh representative, Charla plays many roles: She's foremost the second offensive member next to the leader Meghan, using the fact that she's a Luxray and an Electric-type to full effect - the "Shock 'em and shock 'em" fighter, as Meg once put it. She's the fastest member of the team both with her feet and with her eyes - she well lives up to the specie's alias as the "Gleam Eyes" Pokémon when it comes to picking out weak points in the opposing team. Finally, she helps with the training by taking photos and videos of their past fights in order to learn from their mistakes And yet, despite her many roles, she's only in this for the sake of winning and getting the best grades possible from her time here...what this will mean for the rest of the team, only time can tell.

HA! Diamond/Pearl represent!

Seriously, I've had the idea of a Luxray photojournalist for a while as an RP character idea, but once again I have this project to thank for giving me the chance to go the extra mile in fleshing out the character. Plus, you know, I wanted another female on the team because the idea of the only male member of Team Crossroads being a Gardevoir amuses me greatly.

The entire family is a big horrible pun namewise. Figure out the source, win a Lava Cookie.

EDIT: ...I am a dork, did not notice the missing half of the profile, though it's fixed now. Moral of the story: there's a reason _I am not a writer_.
