UPDATE: This was done BEFORE the recent announcement of an actual Super Robot Wars M (for Mobile, as it's a cellphone game). Just putting that out there.

Before I begin, let me make this clear: I DID NOT DRAW THIS, did (in fact, feel free to fave her version instead. You can find it here: [link] ). She did the lineart and flat colors. I just did the shading, logo design and backround, plus some assembly.

This is based off an IRC-based roleplaying game the both of us play in that's inspired by the Super Robot Wars (Super Robot Taisen in the US) franchise. This is our attempt at mimicking the video game box art, if you couldn't tell. It was fun to do, if exhausting.

For the record, the M stands for "Metaconcept". In this case it means each player submits a series and alters the storyline just so to turn it into a whole new story, be it something as simple as making a supporting character a main character, making good guys into bad guys, making a non-robot-themed series into something that is or even just make your own story. The only thing that (usually) stays the same is the robots themselves, which is why you might find a familiar face or two up there mixed with some originals. See how many you can guess!
