this is probably my third time saying this-

Sayuri was rescued By Endeavor form a hostage situation and having never met a hero before in person she genuinely wanted to thank him for helping her. So the next day she showed up at his agency asking his sidekicks to see him but they, assuming she was a fan of some kind, told her no and to go home.

Being the stubborn woman she is though she stood outside his agency for nearly three days before the sidekicks went to Endeavor and he begrudgingly met with her. He learned that she doesn't come to the city very often and she wanted to give him a gift as thanks. He accepts it and she goes to leave but collapses having been standing outside THREE DAYS and he takes her to get food, she pays for the meal though (his included).

after he gets home he goes to throw her gift away before seeing its a VERY expensive watch. His curiosity of her is peaked.
