Concept sheet for the Khaitchak.A feline beastman race from the woods, the Khaitchak grow more and more legs over the course of their lifetime, and have been seen with over twenty pairs of legs before. Their stripe pattern bears ancient incantation runes which harbor the magical abilities of the Khaitchak. Each individual practices one particular element, with fire being the most dominant among the clan, other dabbling in lightning, darkness, water, and earth elements.

lol I'm sure they encounter some awkward growth stages unfortunately (like that last pair.. doesn't really do much but dangle). I'd like to draw one with a crazy amount sometime

When they are a baby, do they just start with two legs? Seems like it would be tough keeping balance unless they have 4, given their leg structure. A really old one, on the contrary, would probably end up looking like a millipede!

Born with four legs, two arms - I guess your standard taur-type creature. Then every 3 years or so they grow another pair for the rest of their lives -- and they can live to be pretty old, so yeah xD very millipede-y

So the one you drew here would be either a teenager or fairly old, depending how fast they age. Very cool stuff. Would like to see another one of these.
