We all know the story about the The Super Mario Bros. Super Show. As show that, despite it charms and quirks, isn't really what you would call the peak of animation. Cheesy jokes, hit-or-miss voice acting, and what just a stander kids show in general. That being said, I, like many others, don't hate it. Because like I said before, it has it's charm. So much in fact that I think the devs of the show was fully award of how cheesy it was and took advantage of it.

And it was interesting to see that show use the designs from Mario 1 (I think?). Toadstool (not Peach, at the time) was a certain stand out for me for how cartoony she looked out of the rest of the cast. The eyes, the big red poofy hair, the eyes...it really is too bad that we don't really see this design nowadays. Well, excluding using Mario 1 graphics, anyway.
