Okay... I literally discovered the contest just a few days ago and I spend about 4 WHOLE DAYS to finish this piece in time. c:

SHE IS A ROCKSTAR! - NOVA NOIR, the empress of rock music from the new era
"Nova Noir" (Moira Averleen) is a rock singer who has become surprisingly famous over night and just made her debut in 2020. Her songs reach from synth & gothic rock to ethereal ballads.
She and her band, previously called "Holy Obsession", were very surprised when the seats for their first tour were suddenly completely sold out. Before that they used to play in small pubs and at city festivals, but now they fill halls with thousands of screaming fans.
We asked fans what they like about "Nova Noir" and her music and pretty much everybody described her voice and movements on the stage as "simply mesmerizing".
We can understand that. With her unique and extraordinary looks and her breathtaking voice, "Nova Noir" always impresses her fans and attracts new, young audiences. The biggest fan page on Instagram already has over 1 million followers! She is so popular that her "alpha fans" (that's how they call their very first "real" fans) even get her name and even her face tattooed on their body!
She truly opens the door to a new era.
But where did the sudden success come from?
We asked "Rich Rock Music Ltd.", which signed the band after the big rush.
"Nova Noir is not just a fad that will be over in a few years from now. She is already an icon! In the past 20 years there has been NO ONE who has mixed up and pulled the rock scene so much like Nova Noir! Even old-established rock lovers are impressed by the young lady. The songs are played on the radio, are always wished for at festivals and concerts are sold out after only a few minutes. So far only pop musicians had so much success in such a short period of time, but I think now it's time to let the electric guitars play!"
How does Nova Noir explain her big breakthrough?
"Well, I was in a very bad place when we started playing at gigs together. I wasn't seeing a meaning in my life anymore, but singing with my guys, which are my best friends now, kept me busy, especially my mind. At one point one of our few fans talked to me after we got from the stage in a little pub and because she liked my singing so much, she gave me her necklace as praise. After that fans seemed to rush to the events we were performing at and I still don't know why. But I'm much more happy now."
Maybe that necklace is somehow magical? But even if so, we think that Nova Noir and her band really deserve the success!
They just released their new album "wandering through hell", which we think you should definitely give a try!
