I dunno, it was just getting into a groove of status quo as it got more popular: something would happen that could be an interesting story development and then they'd sweep it under the rug and forget it happened.  The Lich/Prismo cliffhanger was the driving force for me in that regard: the Lich escaped and did whatever and it was looking like something really crazy was going to go down, and then season opening they resolve it and wipe it back to the previous status quo with Prismo.  Between that and me not caring about the whole FP saga I just didn't want to watch anymore.  I feel a big part of why it got like that is because pretty much the entire original creative crew have moved on to other things.

to be honest the show isn't about plot its an episodic show with continuation there is no grand finally they're setting up sure they set things back the original status quo but they've always done that yes its annoying but i never bother i feel like the creative crew wanted to mature show more but thats just my opinion and what you said is yours so good day

The status quo was never a problem when it was bizarre, uncomfortable adventures every week; I guess the real problem was they started trying to fit in arcs, but never wanted to have any consequences from them and that just wasn't working for me.
