It seems that the winter formal dance at Crikey High school it was themed "Renaissance". Aaron Jr. was supposed to be the DJ of the dance, but also ended up wearing the tacky little suit, but refused to wear a wig. The funny part about it was even though he was an amazing break dancer, he was completely unfamiliar with ballroom dancing.
So Lilith dragged him out into the dance floor as a beautiful song perfect for ballroom dancing began to play & had to give him the basics. She grabbed his arms & helped him place them where they needed to be. He was freaked out not only because he was new to this, but also due to him holding onto Lilith's waist. And then they began to dance, & Jr learned to get the hang of it.
Ok before you go on, I know I've been acting rather Aaron Jr & Lilith centered, but this picture is actually a series I've had for a while, I just ended up re-imaging it; and also I had a great story/plot for the two for a while now, so its been rather hard to not focus on the two. Yes, Lilith is a vampire, & the dude she's teaching how to dance is a gator half human. Deal with it!
Now, about the picture, NO I didn't get this from Twilight. It hadn't even crossed my mind. This deviation was inspired by the song Beauty & the Beast [link] . But also came to my mind after I heard from my pals over in Cali they were going to their winter formal. And finally, this picture was inspired by the song [link] I was going to use in my dream wedding, if that time will ever come.
And also, Lilith belongs to my good friend . It's her OC but I decided to use her in my own series. I don't even know if the OC of the original owner herself even has a BF. SO don't waahh to me about it. I'm not going to ask Lilith if she really does have a BF in RL because that's not really my business. If she does fine or if she doesn't fine as well. This is just my depiction & story to the OC herself in my series. ~Lilith13thevampire 's depiction of Lilith is more Nintendo-related & has a human version of a Boo as a boyfriend. Still, in my little sereis, she's a princess, & knows Princess Peach, & still princess of Boos. Deal with it.
So now I finally got to color this more & add some stuff I wasn't able to. But one thing that makes me uncomfortable is Jr's skin. I know is has no color so it obviously looks weird, but, it's just how it looks. I mean, Lilith's skin is fine thanks to her being a vampire. But I like how it came out anyways.
Hope you like it.

I really like this drawing. It's cute ^^ Especially the dress and the expression on Aaron Jr's face.
The one thing I think that could be better (that hasn't been mentioned) is the colouring. The colour looks great, but it's all line-y. If you colour in small circles the colour comes out a lot more even and you can't see all the lines in the colouring.
But congrats on such an awesome picture

Well hello (:
The comment you asked for! (:
This is a well drawn picture - and the coloring is actually pretty fantastic considering the medium and such. You should watch out for proportions though - the guy [Aaron?] seems bulky all over, which is fine for this style. And because his hair is purple, the eye is drawn there, rather than to the girl [Lil?]'s dress.
So, in the upper half of the drawing, the other area of interest is the girl's face. It's tiny, in comparison to her hair - again, fine. But when you look at her body, it's far too big for such a face - you can have small face and big hair, but not small face and big body - not even with cartoons. Unless it's caricature, which is entirely different. Buuut this isn't caricature.
Simple solution? Make the face bigger digitally. It's actually not difficult and can be done with GIMP. Otherwise, it's a great picture, keep drawing!

Can you dumb that down for me? I'm not what you mean And his (Aaron's) hair is blue, damn scanner killed it.
As for the upper half part, OMG thanks, I knew something was wrong with Lilith's head! I'll fix that some time.
When you say face, you mean the head or face in general? Yeah I'll get GIMP sometime soon (real soon) & fix it. Thanks for the advice.

Well what I mean is that you don't often see blue/purple hair, so you look up there first, instead of the girl's dress [which has lots of details]. And that's where the attention is - and then you look at her face, which is the next point of attention.
But yeah, all you need to do is make her face bigger - leave her hair the way it is. GIMP is free and once you figure out how to use it, it's pretty user friendly. At least, the simple parts are
Good luck
