Having seen the first two fight, I came up with two alternative scenarios.
Scenario a) The wrestler bets on her endurance rather than winning. So, Angela will take the bait. She needs that 50k to recover from her loss. She is determined to win, and on top of that, willing to murder to support her daughter. And she assumes after three consecutive fights her opponent will be weakened enough. Unfortunately, she’s wrong. The fight exceeds 5 mins, but she’s not on the winning side. She took too big a risk, now she will die with regrets.
Scenario b) the wrestler goes for the 50k and paid for her recklessness. Angela, on the other hand, could not risk her life with her daughter in mind, however desperately she needs the money. After feeling her opponent for a while she realizes her chance of winning is dismal. Angela sighs in her heart: only if she were 10 years younger... She fights cautiously and, with her experience and skill, manages to last longer than anyone would’ve expected. But the accumulated prize is still not enough for the debt and tuition. Thus, despite the increasingly overwhelming pain and exhaustion, she refuses to go down. But how much longer can a fighter stand on nothing but sheer determination?
