Today is the first day in a series I would like to call Sketchbook Saturday! Here's the sort of the back story in it I guess (skip if you don't care asdfkjl; ) :

This week, I was feeling preeetty art-blocked. Slowly I've been working on Yukio's release PV, but I've gotten to a part where I have to make more storyboard sketches... but the sketches were turning out so bad I couldn't even -- nakdgla
And on top of that, though I try sketching a lot in class, they were always drawing that I was really ashamed of looking at the following day. Anatomy was not only difficult to be satisfied with, but what I settled for wasn't even really that great either ;; And it got to a point of frustration where I was finally doing to do something about it.
So Friday night, I spent a /ton/ of time on deviant art searching as many anatomy tutorials as I could. Just really letting it all sink in. Then I started practicing drawing... and it clicked! Somehow I saw a huge improvement in my drawing just in that moment ;7; ...
But after being all excited in discovering these drawing techniques, and drawing out four of my own UTAUs ... I felt a little unsatisfied again :/ It hit me on how self-absorbed I was and that I honestly draw my own characters 90% of the time ...
It was late, but I promised myself that the next day, I would /not/ draw my own characters and spread the love for once! Here's how we got sketchbook Saturday :> I cooped myself up in my room and just drew and drew and drew. And I've decided I'll do this a lot to 1) practice art and 2) draw all the UTAUs I've always felt so bad for never drawing XDD there's a lot of those ...

tldr: I'm gonna practice more sketching every week hopefully on my path as an improving artist and a less self-absorbed person @A@~

Once I drew Senjo, I knew I was all drawn out |D ugh but I need to practice drawing guys more, too ...
I also drew Mimi since it's her birfday today ^7^ And she's an amazing UTAU and her Lunae design is fantastic landkgla *blabbers*
Welp, whether or not you tolerated all that text, I hope this can really be a weekly thing xD Maybe I'll start taking requests after I draw all who I want to draw ...
