Illustration for DSR chapter 9. The Dinobots debate whether or not to aid Quasar and Cloudstreaker in their mission to dispell a field of toxic negative ions that has put the entire refugee camp into a state of depressive sleep. Slag needed a bit of 'talking to' by Dinobot leader Grimlock.Watercolor and Prismacolor pencils

Knowing Grimlock, he could be pissed off enough to rip Slag's head off and smash it back on-backward-and laugh about it. it was a good scene in the story and I'm glad I was able to illustrate it. But Dinobots are a pain in the processors to draw!

You did a good job though! I tried and failed miserably myself to draw Grimlock, it was horrible enought that he got taken to the shredder.

Drawing Transformers is no small feat. But the Dinobots are so individual and their faces are so impossible . . . wait till I get my hands on whomever designed their heads!!

Ahhh...I'd the same situation with a pair of shoes.
I just knew they'd cripple me...that five minutes after putting them on I'd want to take them off and burn them despite the hefty price tag. But I just couldn't stop myself from buying them anyway. And then wearing them...and walking home in the rain in my bare feet.
Some tortures are unavoidable. XD
