Like the tears, of a heavy sky, that one reccueille, bitter, in the palm of its hand, observing this sky of sob, with half-extinct, of a dream melancholic person, but the skies also cry of joy, and if they cover on the world, a myriad of ondine, it is only for better washing it its evils.
I like much the simplicity of this work, and what however comes out from it.

Naw not my house. XD Thank god I don't live up in the mountains. @__@!
But in the mountain area people are being evacuated since houses are sliding off mountains and in some areas mountains are shifting and crushing whole towns , literally.
And I know almost all our resiviors in the south part of CA have broken or been damaged severely. And in some cities I know they're flooded completely about 5 ft.
Pretty harsh. But the bay area of Calif ( San Francisco , San Jose , around there. ) We've got flood warnings. Don't think I'll be evacuated though. Water and everything else doesn't seem to be a problem where I am. But the rain is annoying. It's been raining since new years...()

This is lovely. Though, against what you say, I see this grey as soft and warm and peaceful, rather than oppressive. Which is probably just me--one of the loveliest pieces of art I've ever seen, which I thought was joyful, turned out to be about terror. >_>

Actually, it's not about terror. You can see it as peaceful even, each to their own interpretation ^^ I was just feeling a little down hence had to paint something to release it, I chose the gray tone 'cause it's basic and mono (plus it's been gray re where I'm living). I wasn't angry or irritated, just hoping to become cheerful again, a bit like patiently/peacefully waiting. Maybe that's why you interpreted that way.
P/S: I like rain most of the time too

Your expressions are always so effective. I like that contrast between the background and the skin too, adds a something I can't seem to pinpoint.
As always too, there's an at-home, cozy quality to each of the paintings you do, so they always manage to make me feel spiritually calmer. I don't know what it is you do? lol
