Thanks, most of this image is "hiding" removing stuff while maintaining a background, that is easiest done with layers in an art program, I like to use Photoshop, but there are others out there that are just as good for this particular effect.
then it is just getting to work with using the crop, lasso, marking and stamp tool, and that part is actually just trial and error. do a lot of it, and you will be good at it..
