Thank you! I'm happy with my art if only I get the posture right. I have seen a few similarly themed art, and usually they depict the falling pony's posture in three ways: 

Head down, front hooves extended forward, depicting a sense of despair and final struggle. jamescorck.deviantart.com/art/...

But what posture to use in order to depict a sense of resignation that is not hopeless, but filled with peace and relief?

This still seems kind of hopeless: if the limbs are all loosened and limp, it gives a feeling that the character does not bother controlling anymore

if ALL the limbs are open and (somewhat) strengthful (like a parachute jumper), it instead gives a feeling that the character actually is enjoying what's about to come.

Another thing would be to have his eyes half open, squinting at his future, while the background have a blinding shine at where he's facing.
