Well it's more of a STUDY really...Everything if from studying the manga/anime series. not that is was that hard...
I was thinking about doing a Lan Fan cosplay, and i wanted to make the costume easier to understand. so i drew it up. Who knows it may actually help someone.
the colour scheme is correct aswell, or as correct i could make it.

I would like to know what kind of material is made the chest guard. Iron ? Leather ? :/

I believe it's a type of padded leather armour, if you read the manga there's a panel when Lan Fan is kicked/punched in the chest and you can see the affects that cushioned armour would have (i.e pressed down, folded.) c:

(Forgive such a late response. I found this via searching for my own cosplaying devices 
I, personally, am going to use leather for the chest and shoulder(s). Leather is much lighter, easier to work with, easier to move around in, more comfortable, just as sturdy, and easier to find someone who can help you learn to make with than metal. It's also more believable for a ninja-type person to use, because leather is much more stealthy and allows for assassin-like mobility.
For the shoulder(s), I'm likely going to use heat-treating methods to harden the leather to help it maintain shape, and also punch some metal studs through it for the detailing. I'm still debating if I'm going to do Lanfan's automail arm; if I do, it's likely going to be primarily leather as well, also involving heat-treating. Leather is also pretty forgiving if you want to airbrush metallic paint on it; it absorbs it pretty well, and I have yet to see it crackle due to movement.
I actually have friends in a leather business, so I've seen and learned how to make all kinds of cosplay pieces with various materials.

Yeah I like how simple and easy to put together the cosplay is. Unlike some people who cosplay like... Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy or something. ._.
