In the land of madness, the dreamer prays for the dream to end.

An old project from Drawing 2, almost two years ago now...the assignment was "Dream of Falling", which we could develop however we wanted. Thus this monstrosity. I fully acknowledge the Lovecraftian influences...but what would an art education be if I didn't get to draw tentacular horrors once in awhile?

The reason this hasn't gotten up here before now is that it truly is monstrous--the paper is extremely thick and about four feet tall. This is actually cropped down somewhat because I had to edit out the cans of vegetables I used to hold down the corners; I've had to store it rolled-up and it won't lay flat anymore. o__o;
But I finally managed to photograph it in all its glory! So enjoy.
