A lot of my friends choose the two saying that they were better, but i think Oshawott is the best. That's why I chose him.

I ended up picking Snivy because I didn't really like Tepig or Oshawott all that much at first. But this....you made Oshawott adorable! XD now I feel guilty and want to pick it next time. This comic is pretty cute though so nice job ^^.

At first, I only liked Snivy. Then Oshawott grew on me, because I looked at it differently and realized it really was a little sweetheart--tepig grew on me with time, too. : D thanks for the comment!

You're welcome ^^. They've grown on me as well. I think it might have also been a desire on my part to use a different type of starter. I used water for every game except Emerald(grass type),Heart-gold(Fire type)and now Black version.

I tend to use water, too.. Well, grass for the first gen, usually Totodile for second, mudkip for third, turtwig for fourth, and Oshawott for fifth--I don't think I've ever picked fire for my first playthrough..

I've been wouldnering why it is that Osawatt is portrayed as begging to be the starter. I mean it the anime may have something od do with it.

Well, a lot of people thought of this concept before the Unova/Isshu anime was made----Oshawott was really hated/disliked when it was first shown--everyone was talking about how ugly it was, and how great the other two were, so that could be a reason..

well in the anime it seems to stalk Ash, and they made it FREEKING ADORABLE clever use of it's chibi-like apearence, and the voice actor/acrress

Ah. I kind of think Ash's Oshawott is kind of a jerk--trying to take the place of pikachu(I remember it pushed pikachu right off ash's shoulder once..)

that was a bit of a dick thing to do. though they seem to get along in the next episode. I plan to watch allot of it on the internet after I beat the game. I gatta play obsessivly at least untill 4/7
