Search around! Usually there's a con around and you don't even know about it! xD I only found out about Anime Boston when I got to high school, and I live only 20 mins away from it, and once I found that, I discovered Conneticon and Another Anime Convention, which are all close.(Well, KINDA close, there all just a few small states away anyway. x3) Also, you don't need a con to make a costume. ;3 I made my first one before I knew about Anime Boston. x3

Haha I wear my cosplays around the house, and have traveled to public places in them.(The mall is super fun to go to in cosplay. The reactions you get from people are awesome! xD) But yeah cons are super fun, I think everyone should get to go at least once in their life.
