So that mean i have to go back a few on what i normally do (the backgrond w/ white edges etc) because i don't know how to transfer them here

Alright, so you can select the drawing and then go to the top where there is a drop down menu saying selection and in that menu, click increment a few times, then of course make a layer under the drawing and bucket it white! It's not completely perfect next to pointed edges like hair though and gets squared off so it might need to be fixed around those parts but it's a lot quicker than actually drawing a white line around the character. Hope this helps!
