Description
There was an extension to the workshop contest so I managed to get the pieces all finished. My photography and photoshop skills leave a bit to be desired but I was down to the wire for getting it posted. There are a few pieces I may one day re-do because of problems while baking or I just didnt like how they ended up, but overall I am quite happy with my first chess set.Pieces made of polymer clay.
Edit: Someone pointed out on FB that I had the kings mixed up. Thats what I get for posting when so sleepy. Fixed now.
How long did it take to make? I think it was around the 30 hour mark, give or take a few. There is no paint used, it is all done with the coloured clay. Every little spot and tiny little nail.
Edit Jan 8th 2018: Thank you everyone for all the kind comments! The majority of the set has been sent to new homes and I only have a few pieces that I kept for myself (plus a few pawns left in my Etsy shop) . I will be doing more figurines later this spring though and yes there will be choyas.

I made a few small changes to my quaggan chess set
* Adding a wooden frame to the board
* Added small reins to the knight's hobby horses
* Lightly flocked the bottom of all the pieces

Too cute not to fave (not to mention that chess is one of my favourite games)!

Currently no plans to sell it. I am too picky about flaws in it.

I seriously want this so much.. Which, I assume that you're not selling it and if you are, I probably can't afford it. But I'm just saying, that if it were for sale, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Quaggans are my favorite and this is adorable~

I wouldn't be happy selling it at least until I fixed 3 of the pieces (3 knights fell over when baking and are no longer holding the staff part properly) and I have no idea what it should even be priced at. LOL. But thank you!

This is very cool! From one clay quaggan nerd to another, I must give props for the time this had to have taken. The little knights are my favorite, I think. XD
