Akamon's origin is unknown. How they came to be is unknown. It is commonly believed that they are descendants of Meggidramon, though testing has shown faint-relation to a holy digimon.
Akamon is a fairly new species of Digimon, so not much is known about them. What we do know is that Akamon are normally very friendly Digimon, who easily become attached to its friends.
His special attack is red cinderblast, where he breathes out pure-Red flames. An average fire fighter would be sent running like a chicken with its head cut off.

Akamon is an omnivore, but Akamons without a tamer typically take a carnivorous diet. Their stomachs are small, so they can only eat so much before they start regurgitating.
