Description This is my part of our arttrade with She asked for a Rufus and Reeve image, cuddling, no hardcore nudity. I hope you like, dear!
I liked this pose a lot, because for us both faces can be seen, but Reeve can't see that cunning smile on young Rufus' lips.
About the year I'm not sure, a few years before the original FF7 game events start.
The background is symbolic, their age difference and ranks can be seen in the trees.

I refrained from drawing a peeping Cait Sith, or at least the peek of its ears + the crown...

I don't know why, but Reeve reminds me of someone... Like someone from Hollywoods movies, someone rich and kinky... (let's ignore Rufus from that point on)

 

Other than that, I love the soft shading work. Makes the picture even more likeable than before.

Reeve looks so much like Tony Stark here, jussayin'... but a friend of mine is convinced they're the same guy in different universes, so I love Rufus' little smirk, and that cherry tree in the background!

Yeah, Tony and Reeve are indeed similar, although I don't think they're the same. ^^ Tony is very handsame, so... thank you!
(Btw, I can see some similarities between Rufus' and Octavius' personalities. I mean the Roman Emperor.)

Oh wow, hon, this is GORGEOUS! Especially Reeve, OMG you drew his face so beautifully. I just love it - the background with the white tree... and Rufus looks like he's up to something but he's Rufus so of course he is. Thank you so much, I hope you like your story as much as I love this drawing.

Thank you! Reeve is such a hottie, I love him. I tried to draw a more innocent-looking Rufus, but he looked strange and too off, so eventually I just kept his smug attitude, assuming that teen Rufus was not much more innocent than the adult one, only lacked experience.
I'm glad that you like your pic!

PS: I will upload the uncolored lineart, because much to my surprise the coloring changed a bit the look in Reeve's eyes.
