Description
This is an incomplete Lightning from the FFXIII trailer. She's pretty cool. Tough girl with guns and blades.. and a handsome face.Been inspired to try some Final Fantasy characters from some ppl that I've been watching. ^_^ Been awhile since I used a tissue to shade. Feels good. Even so, it's a pretty botched shade. ARRGH.. Maybe I shouldn't have started shading so quickly. *goes off to study other ppl's shading*
Did this yesterday. Within roughly 2-3 hours. I'm trying to do the hair but I can't make myself sit down and do it. It's so painful.. >_<
anyway, I'm gonna finish this.. definitely.. another day.. *sigh *chucks paper aside.
[EDIT : Okay, now I'll add another 4 hours for the hair. =_= the torture...still not done with it though . I'm kinda disappointed with the face. It looks completely different from my reference photo . =_= Her eyes look bigger. Her nose angle has changed. Her mouth too. *sigh* need MORE practice... Gaahh.. I'll stop complaining now. Wasted so much sleep time. Need to zzz. ] I'll be back again to finish this.. *chucks paper aside again

thanks. It was such a pain. It's the most detailed hair I've ever done XD. I'm sure you can do it too if you spend some time at it.
I used mechanical pencil for the hair. 2B 0.5mm.
For the face I used 2B and HB pencils. Typical everyday writing tools. Tissue. And A4 cartridge paper. Oh, and my new 6B pencil for the black parts.
