I'm bad at writing but here's the gist of it:

Since Sofia is a broken horned dream sheep, she is unable to control her floating. one day a star close to her dies and turns into a black hole. thankfully she is far enough to not be sucked into the vortex, and out of the abyss Nereus was born. Sofia is shocked and amazed that she was able to escape the black hole. Nereus comes up to her and gives his greetings while she is suspended in space. They introduce themselves to each other, and Sofia asks Nereus if he could do her a favor and travel with her. You'll always see them hand in hand because Sofia is afraid to be left behind. they set off, and slowly become more acquainted with each other.

so in the end they go on space adventures as a pair and eventually become mates.
