OH HOW I WISH BEAST BOY WENT TO GET HER INSTEAD OF ROBIN. my shipping heart would've exploded into a million pieces of awe and amazement.I'm not too fond of my artwork in this, but i used BB's comics costume to make him seem older, because this is pretty much how i picture him when i read fanfiction.

This would have been cute, but I don't know if BB could have done it. I think they would be better as a romantic couple, but in this part of the story Raven didn't need romance, she needed a brother, someone who could love and protect her, but in a different way, that's Robin. Plus, if BB really liked her romantically, his heart might have gotten sucker-punched seeing her like this.
I think the writers were doing the shippers a favor by protecting them from the heartbreak of a moment like this.

I thought the whole reason Robin went after Raven was because he was the leader of Teen Titans :3 But goes to show you how much I know xD

I agree that Beast boy should have went to get her because I myself am a die hard BbXRae fan but the only reason Robin did is because in the comic. Robin went to go get her. The episodes from Birthmark- The end is where pretty much the Robin and Raven fans started also thoses episodes represent parts in the comic were Robin (Nightwing) and raven kissed. Even when i know all this. I WISH BEASTBOY SAVED HER! D:

but honestly, in the context of the show, it made more sense for BB or star to go get her. Those two had the most development with her in the show, and it would have paralleled when BB gave her the good luck charm nicely.
Sigh. Even when I didn't ship BB/Rae I thought somebody else should have went after her.

If it makes you feel any better. Rachel(Raven) and Garfield (Beast boy) are a couple in the comics. I Do believe they break up because of the robin issue and terra. In the end if i am right they do get back together and beastboy becomes the leader of the Teen titans along with Raven ^^

Yea, I knew that much, I just didn't know the reasoning behind sending robin in after her in the show
The panels I've seen of Gar and Rachel together in the comics are just so adorable though.

but....in a way, it was nice that robin went cuz then he and raven had a nice brother/sister bonding time......and in the end of the episode Beast Boy STILL hugged her

I agree and the serie show that.in fact in the final part of The End part 3 after the celebracion Raven goes to the ruf to meditate,Beast Boy fallow her,talk to her and kiss her.
