Description
A picture from a bit earlier in the raptor AU's timeline, as seen from the state of Skye's plumage.It's ladybug season! Among other things, but surely that's the main occasion.

Skye the raptor chick is currently covered in fluffy down like a baby bird. :> She's starting to grow proper contour feathers, too, starting with the wing feathers sprouting from her arms as "pin feathers", covered in a waxy sheath while the feather grows.

thats so odd, shes such a weird little raptor compared to her scalie parents but it makes for a fun family in the comics i see hehe
