She is a pretty unusual creature, but in this family of unusual raptors she fits right in, lol.
I think the animals that JP/W Velociraptors are altered clones of would probably have been fully feathered in the JP/W universe, too, like dromaeosaurids were in real life. I figure the trait is still somewhere in their DNA, even if it doesn't lead to growing feathers on all individuals. The same with how two of Skye's little siblings have their wrists oriented in a way that will allow them to grow fully functional wings .

Seems she might soon be. :) Now if she can only have the patience to wait to get to meet her little siblings.

This is so sweet and adorable in so many ways. Your Blue and Indo family definitely enjoy happiness. Skye is so fluffy here.

A day around that time at least. :D But it was the exact day Skye caught her first ladybug.

Aha, at first I was thinking βOh no, looks like thereβs probably going to be even more hatchlings in the future. Guess they've been handling raising 5 hatchlings pretty well!β Then I read other comments & realized this was an event that happened before they were born...& probably what led to it.

lol, let's hope they stick to a more sparse schedule when it comes to new clutches, the five chicks they already have are quite the handful. :D Yes, Skye's four little siblings don't exist yet at the time of this picture... but they also probably will begin to soon, as a result of some of those non-ladybug-related activities.

Probably on the agenda for the near future, yes. Their babies that are seen in my other recent fanart of these guys hatched something like maybe a month, a month and a half later.
