Lucas Villager and Duck Hunt are my mains. I guess you can say I also main Ness but I suck as him in competitive play. Usually leave Ness for casual style play.

Ness just needs some timing and skills.  The least one I use is villager since I'm not good in for glory...but a troll character in for fun.   And the other mains are these....www.deviantart.com/art/Team-Re…

I think I'm over reliant on his back throw to KO so opponents can punish my grab-happy play style. I also spam too much PK fire, hehe. Ness' recovery is hopeless in lag as well. I can use him well in situations but overall I don't have as much success with him.

I got more varied play styles with Lucas, Duck Hunt and Villager. I feel I can adapt to opponent's play styles better, and putting all 3 characters together, there is usually at least one character that works well. I have quite different play styles with each of my mains.

Those dem lags. Always ruins everything. And yes that's true that everyone plays differently because I tend to be more of a melee ness then a range ness.

Online is good. It makes playing smash heaps more enjoyable knowing that you're playing against actual people and not CPU's. Sometimes however, lag just puts me off it can be so bad.

I think being a good Ness player and this is for all characters really, is how to learn all their play styles and use them effectively against opponents. So to master Ness you need to know his close and far range game. (Although Ness doesn't have much range in most of his attacks...)
