Gideon Grey from Zootopia!
Been wanting to draw Gid since I saw the movie and I did this one a few days ago. So, I know my drawing style is kinda Don Bluth-like. Buuuuut... when I draw my Zootopia stuff I try my hardest to make it as Disney lookin' as possible, 'cause y'know, its a Disney movie. But apparently I kinda fail at doing so.
(Yes peeps, I know he worked for disney. XD)Anyway! This is my last submission until around June 11th possibly, since I already have a drawing done that I wanna post then, because of Califur and stuff I'll be kinda busy next week!
Also, I'm having computer problems. twitter.com/Kosperry/status/73β¦ I twittered about it, but basically the family computer (A desktop mac and the computer that I use to do my art on)'s screen display shuts off randomly and its gotten to the point where it just always shuts off making it impossible for me to do my digital art now. 8( Been kinda stressed about it but I'm not gonna lose hope that it'll be fixed somehow, someway and hopefully soon. Anyone else ever had this problem?

Gideon was such a great character. Its not every day that a childhood bully in the movies actually comes back and says that they were wrong...which tens to happen in real life.

I'd say it's pretty Disney-ish. Like, older Disney, the Aristocats or the Jungle Book or Robin Hood. You seem to capture those styles pretty well. Your work is extraoridinary!

About your computer: you NEED to buy Norton virus protection program and have it scan your system because it sounds like you have a virus, Two...try refreshing your system in computer settings, Three, it sounds like a powerfailure...which invest in a new plug...depending on what OS and the age of your computer...You guys may need to update...My last desktop...which was a Windows XP was the family computer for 9 years....it was big and beige and bulky!!.then it was mine...then it just randomly got a virus and kept restarting...

As for your drawing...you know I'll always adoure whatever you create...you could never create a bad drawing that no one likes..and of someone does dislike it...there's a back button D8

I've rarely used a Mac computer so apparently they're much different then a windows computer...Also... I looked up what kind of computer she has and its apparently one of those flat screen ones with the brain and everything built in...and I guess they do not get viruses so.. I don't know what to tell her..being into retro stuff like I am.. I was under the impression it was a bulky desktop where back in the day you could just unscrew the shell from the tower and suck all the dust off the circuitry and everything..and that would fix a problem like this..but I guess things have really changed since 1998 :/
I suggest if she does not have the funds to take it into a repair shop she should start a gofundme or open up for commissions again so she can pay to get everything fixed...
I personally use Norton but.. you know to each their own.

I really love how you are able to take something and make it look like it is from a classic Disney cartoon. It's a very unique way to do fan art and other works and I think what you are doing is great and I can't wait to see more!

You know when failing to look like Disney gets you to Don Bluth Style I really would not complain too much. That's like complaining about getting Filet Minon instead of tenderloin.

He reminds me of the Sheriff of Nottingham from Robin Hood. That's not a bad thing, though, as I always enjoyed Ol' Bushel Britches.

If it helps any, Bluth was once a principal animator at Disney, so a fair bit of Disney animation in the 70's actually resembles his later work quite a bit (such as Robin Hood and Pete's Dragon). /animation history nerd

Yes, my com either shuts down spontaneously or starts up real slow (or not at all)...I was told it could be issues from the motherboard either way it's just frustrating

Have you tried updating your mac? My mac started doing the same thing before I fully updated it. I also updated the Cintiq driver.Β
Also if you ever need any helpful drawing advice for other styles, looking at character model sheets is perfect. There's lots of character construction sheets for Zootopia out there.Β
