A very Happy Birthday to Don Bluth today! I wanted to draw something The Land Before Time since 2018 is the year the film turns 30, this November! It was my first Bluth movie and it will always be one of my childhood favorites!
Β Iβve always wanted to try my hand at drawing the group as adult dinos!

Oh my god. Well I got hit with a whole lot of nostalgia. This was my introduction to dinosaurs, the first film always has a huge place in my heart. I think I can still name them all! Thank you for creating a piece where I see these beloved characters fully grown.Β

I used to watch The Land Before Time when I was little and I loved it-
In personal opinion, my favorites are Petri and Ducky...Β
And the way you captured them as adults? Amazing, my friend! I wish a happy 30th birthday to this movie and a very happy birthday to Don Bluth, which is one of my favorite styles right next to Disney! :3

One of the movies I watched the most as a kid, and the theme song always got to me. How time flies.

How Ducky and Spike turned out here is absolutely amazing.
Come to think of it...this was also my first Don Bluth movie....I think. Or was it An American Tail? All Dogs Go to Heaven?
Well which ever it was (though I'm sure it was this one) Don Bluth left us some truly inspirational films. Even his lesser celebrated works have a great amount of style and creativity to them. They influenced your fantastic style so I'm glad you continue the mantle through your wonderful artwork.

Awww, this is so nice and adorable! I love seeing them as adults. This is what it'd be like if the movies had gone the next generation route and had the main cast grown up.
It's nice to see Cera with her two horns grown in. That always drove me crazy about the movies! Her baby cousins had three horns but Cera didn't. Was she just a late bloomer or was it a mistake? I think I was worried about Cera that she'd never be able to defend herself without three horns...even though she was full of spit and vinegar already.

I grew up on this too. Love it still. Petri is my fav. Even named one of my dogs after him. Though he's gone now. He was just as cute as Petri is in the films.

This is honestly what I personally would love to have seen in a sequel, telling their children about their journey to the Great Valley. Such a miss opportunity there.Β Great work though, its neat to see what they would have looked like more grown up!
