Description
The next challenge for the is a story called 'Monster Brawl' in which a mysterious green cloud transforms people into monsters for our heroes to encounter! Felt like doing a cover of my new character Centauri, to shake away those artistic cobwebs! As always opinions welcome - story to follow later this month

Her suit lets her survive in space, so I figure there's some kind of force-field thing going on here. I want her first appearance to be heroic, not have her get monster-ified on her first time out as a hero

There is a bit more to this, as the eruption of so many mutation-causing plants was not coincidental. It was deliberate.

What I mean is, can our characters do anything other than fight the monsters? Centauri's suit is likely to be able to scan and identify the origins of the infection for example - what would she find out? (I will just draw a fight scene, but is she allowed to find anything out?) Second question - is this going to carry on into he next month's challenge, or is something different happening for November?

There are Hazmat teams in some cities that can use some rescuing. As for what she will find, she would learn that the plants are genetically altered and treated with chemicals that allow for the mutating spores to be created and released. It is very clear that the process was man-made.
Also, this event will last until the end of fhe month, with November's challenge being quite different.

The Monster Brawl story will be over this month, but it will be referenced in the future. Either by me or :mja42x: in a future story.

Love it! I was originally thinking of having a people create a cover for each challenge (as well as the story pages) but thought that it might be overkill. This looks great though! I'm excited about learning more about Centauri.

I liked the format I came up with for the cover, so it seemed like a nice idea to continue it as much as possible. Not sure I'll be able to do it every month, but it would be nice to try! Plus, the more times I draw Centauri the better I get to know the character - still not entirely sure what I'm doing with the story yet so I figured this might help me think it through!
