LOL - there's a lot to be said for being forced to get the story done in three pages isn't there! I've not really noticed this in films, but the tendency in currant comics to have whole issues where the heroes sit around and talk about stuff is very frustrating! Thanks for the kind words and the

Where has she been? Being a big god damn hero is what I'd wager given the two panels. Really gives a strong hint at the type of life Jaime has been living, and it great epic style I pretty much come to expect from ye with your amazing talent at setting backdrops and what not in your panels. Good storytelling in so few panels and words

Thanks for the kind words - I had a much more ambitious version of this sequence planned at one point with loads of images from her time in space - but in retrospect I think it's probably better like this - the two panels hint at the story pretty well and we can reveal the rest as we go - I quite like the idea of working in more flashbacks in later challenges.

Great little intro story! Very cinematic. It's going to be fun to watch you draw an offensive powered hero. I've always enjoyed Vigil as well, but change is good now and then.

The new, streamlined DU appealed to me too - a bit easier to follow and hopefully a few less daft characters - (I know that's a very relative term!)

I'd like a traditional universe without the animal themed characters, and cartoon characters, but it's all in fun.

I think it's a nice challenge because basically we can just do character stuff against the backdrop of this radiation thing - you could use this to reunite Yenna with the others or just show us a bit more about what the A.N.G.E.L.S are. They could become pretty important now there's no R.A.P.T.O.R.
