Yeah - I must admit I really like Charybdis' full on superhero look - I still don't really have a feel of how to draw the new version yet, but I'm enjoying the current story - which reminds me - I must go comment on the last two pages... Thanks for the
! Much appreciated!

lol alright, alright I'll add a credit! I wasn't sure you were particularly bothered about him since he didn't really get an identity until he was captured by Charybdis and took over his story. I think she's re-imagined him to de-Secret Wars him in her current story though - all that's the same is the name. Did you create that?

Yeah, I've completely removed any part of the character that originated from the whole Axiom guard thing to avoid any uncertainties over creator rights. All that's left is the cowardly henchman I created when I decided I wanted and extra character.

Thanks a lot - and for the too! That's exactly the vibe I was going for here - as I understand it Charybdis and Jansen's adventures are starting out a little more low key and then building up to superheroics later!

Who would've thought that a team up between a super hero and villain henchman would ever last?

They have their own series over at 's DA page - have you seen it yet? Only three or four pages so far, but it's looking great.

I don't think so - but definitely not a hero! Certainly bad tempered!

Rings a bell ... ... aren't these the ones, who fell in the Secret Wars and then came back as minions of the dark side in the final battle?
Great work, btw.

There is a way you can scan this. If it's A3 you can scan 1 half then just turn it round & scan the other half. That's what I do & knit it together in photoshop afterwards. The original stays in tact & you got your scan

Kostmeyer In reply to MadMonkeyDane [2013-01-19 23:26:56 +0000 UTC]
LOL - yeah I managed to think of that on my own! Sadly my scanner has a raised edge which means either a nasty fold line or a serious distort where the edge of the picture is held off the page. Easier to photocopy it later - there's no rush.

Cool! Nice to see these characters together.
btw - can't you scan in both halves and then knit them together?

Part of the commission involves me posting the thing to - I'm not sure she'd want it in two bits! I shall sneak into work early and photocopy it

angiepk In reply to Kostmeyer [2013-01-20 00:10:03 +0000 UTC]
I didn't mean cut it up, I meant have half the picture hanging out of the scanner. and then scan the other half. That's how I used to do it. But I think your way will be easier in the long run.

Kostmeyer In reply to angiepk [2013-01-20 08:17:41 +0000 UTC]
Yeah - my scanner has a raised border so if I don't fold the art or cut it there's a huge distort where the edge is raised up. Luckily I've kept waiting for so long now that another day or two shouldn't make much difference! (Sorry mate!)

that's a cool pic, i love the background especially! looks derelict and somehow like how a harbor looked like a hundred years or so ago!
wasn't there a community project or something where they appeared and that you hosted? ...and wanted to finish someday?
